Autumn, you are warmly to be welcomed; Summer, don't panic, you will not be forgotten

strolling on a summer afternoon

feeling romance on a seaside

speaking with the lovely palms

laying under the summer night sky

spending time with my beautiful summer sunset

and kissing my 2011 summer goodbye

The seedling diary. I miss you. sunshine love!

dawn,

morning.
I only wait.
I plant a seed
to witness its magic
independence.

noon.
I miss a picnic
because you're missing
it's for two, not one.

afternoon.
the seed peeps into our world
storm bellows
deafening the seedling
the young.

dusk,

twilight.
the seedling sees sunlight
for the first time.
the storm departs
for a while
but leaves memories
on my mind.

evening.
the storm returns
I walk alone
to care for the seedling
it has grown tall
when you were away.

midnight.
the young is left alone
amid the chaos and rain
sobbing out its heart.

I said goodnight,
stars and rain,
and go to sleep.
But with you,
not yet leaving,
on my mind.

morning arrives
with a bright smile
all over again
the young has grown
tall and is reaching towards
the sky, with a flower
held high, and proud.

sunshine love,
you make me happy,
you make me content,
without you who will know
when tomorrow will begin.

Day & night,
I love you,
I miss you,
I................
cannot live
without you.

Magnanimous

I was wrong. So wrong. Forgive me.

Look up into the sky, what do you see

blue, light blue, white, marshmallows

a shape so familiar in your eyes

yes, the clouds are singing for us

they have collaborated to shape

a warm, sincere heart just for us

in the center of the great blue sky

where every individual shares a glance

everyone looks at the same blue sky

everyone sees the bright moonlight

everyone adores the sky up high

and there, the great singer presents

its greatest gift, for us and only us

Yet I was so wrong. So wrong. Forgive me.

I know you will, a magnanimous heart

but I would accept it if you did not

because I deserved it. I deserved it.

A great heart, a clever mind, in you.

But what was I, a selfish narrow-minded

who knows what, I don't even realize

until I missed you, totally, beyond

tonight, as I stare into dark blue infinity

all are gone, blankness bounds back

loneliness surrounds, fills, drowns

until I missed you, did I realize I was wrong

did I know I deserve a yell in the face

I apologize, I do on my knees, and cry

Cried out my heart

I realized the greediness in me

that caused my dissatisfaction

ultimate desire for more and better

until I missed you, did I realize I was loved

by the most wonderful person

who one could ever have met

and you had forgiven me

because of the open-mindedness

within, deep within, locked in, you heart

and now I realized, I was the only one

who you had shared the key with

no other, were permitted, to gain access

to your magnanimous, warmly nurtured heart

Getting information off the Internet is like taking a drink from a fire hydrant.

Suppose your third grade science teacher taught you about the body structure of a mouse this morning. Back home, you reviewed your notes and realized that you were quite captivated by your teacher's explanation of a mouse. Now since you've heard that technology explains everything, curiosity rises, you want to search online, and hope to find what a mouse that your teacher talked about looks like in the real world, since you've never seen one.

You've heard about Google, a smart search engine. You don't really know how smart it is, but well, whatever. You say, Google will give me an image of a "mouse". It breathes, pumps blood, oh, just like us! Can't wait to see what it looks like! What do you think will show up if you googled "mouse" and searched for images? Not rats, hamsters, or whatever other related species, but mice. But you want only one, so mouse.

Guess what? Only one-tenth of the search results are the furry living animals. So what shows up for nine-tenth of the results?

The techy thing with two buttons and possibly a scroller for your index and middle finger to vibrate consistently up and down. Yeah, probably what you're holding now to scroll down and read further what I've got to write.

Maybe this is useless nonsense talk, but have you thought of this? Not only in the case of mice, but other everyday objects/things/animals/whatever.

So hi tech, you've proved to be more valuable than a living animal. I feel bad for the mouse. The mice. Just saying.

Ad for September - Study in School, Strive to be Smart

The greatest gift is a passion for reading. - Elizabeth Hardwick
We read to know we are not alone. - C.S. Lewis
Reading is a basic tool in the living of a good life. - Mortimer Adler
What is reading but silent conversation? - Walter Savage Landor

I planted a pack of seeds
for you and me to grow
a sprout starts to peep
from under its cozy coat
the first plant takes the lead
for its peers to follow
we pick out the weeds
water and let them glow
under the lovely sunshine
they strive to grow taller
and beyond the skyline
taller than one another
I had planted a pack of seeds
for the world to be green and sheen

School has started, fresh and bright and new C:
Andrea loves reading.
Artful reading, over everyday reading, or informative reading.
Poetry is lovely.
Read, read, read. To write your own poetry.
To shine one day.
